Escape the Den Walkthrough
Here you will find the walkthrough for the recently released point and click escape the room game by Kyjast – Escape the Den
- Get the hook under the table
- Look at the computer. Move the folder on it around. Notice the -1111 under it. [10736 -1111 = your 4 Digit-Code]
- Get the screwdriver to the left of the computer
- Look at the calender left of the desk
- Get the blue key under the top left corner of the calendar
- Do the math on the calendar. (10-5)*2 / 0,5=20
+ 16*4 +20 = 84
+ sqrt(1000-100)= 30
=> 134 (keep that in mind) - Turn to the bookshelf. use the hook to get the green pill (it’s on the top shelf)
- Take the hair drier left on the floor next to the bookshelf
- Use the hairdryer on the white paper right of the bookcase. Notice three circles. the top and the bottom light and the middle one dark.
- Turn to the desk. click on the top and bottom drawer then use the blue key on the keyhole.
- Enter 4 digit code from computer calc : 9625
- Get the pink pill capsule thing
- Use the screwdriver on the power outlet. Get the green key. Notice the drawing. [Calendar x123]
- Turn to face the drawer. Open it. Get the book. Put the green and the pink pill in the corresponding slot. Klick the red lever.
- Put the book in the bookshelf. Klick on it to reveal panel. Open panel with screwdriver.
- Click on the big red button.(Get reeeeally scared!)
- Take the vibrating green pink orb
- Turn to the secret black door. Enter. Put the vibrating orb in the square. Now it’s time for the 5 Digit Code.
134 (from calendar) x 123 = 16482 - Buzzzz. get the golden exit key.

I can not find the screwdriver that is said to be beside the computer but all i have is something that when i go over it it says i can add it to my innovatory but no matter how many times i click it it wont go to my innovatory please explain.

Hey pspfan, you have to click the screen of the computer, it should be beside the screen. (little black line)
So click the computer screen first!

ok the black door is to the left of the closet, the hair dryer is for the paper next to the bookcase and you do need to click the comp first than you can pick it up. i played it 36 times without a calculator or paper/ pencil all in my head

After I click on the computer monitor and go to the left of it I get the little hand icon but no matter what it will not let me pick up the screwdriver. Has anyone else had this problem or know what I am doing wrong?

In what world is 10-5 times 2 divided in half equal to 20?
10-5 is 5
multiplied by 2 is 10 again
divided in half is 5 again
the answer is 5 to that portion of the math bullshit. (10-5) x 2 / 2
I love when they design games that don’t adhere to the actual rules of math, or even what they themselves state.
Thanks for the guide – otherwise I would’ve never known that Kyjast didn’t know how to follow the basic order of operations in math, which I learned in like 3rd grade.

It says divided by one half, not divided by 2.

I thought the math was crazy!! I tried to figure out the math, but it made no sense. Basic math is simple, please correct this or you are gonna piss some peeps off!!! I couldnt have figured it out unless i used the cheat!!
When I cheated on the math, I was expecting this game to get harder! Ummmmmm…NO!

Well, the math is fairly simple, if you understand it.
10 / 0.5 is effectively equal to 10 x 2
just like 10 / 0.25 is effectively equal to 10 x 4
It is basic math, so I’m afraid that you’re a little mistaken, Snoogins

AT LAST ! A game with puzzles that actually make sense ! PLEASE, PLEASE Kyjast….make some more. I’m so tired of games that have puzzles that, even after I cheat…still make no sense to me. THIS one was great !
